St. Louis has really been establishing itself as one of the hottest new hip-hop scenes in the country right now. It is not a complete surprise given all of the unrest that has surrounded the city over the past few years.
One of the rising stars from the St. Louis scene right now is MME’s Mvstermind. In his new video for “Ain’t No Water in the Water Tower”, Mvstermind takes you on a tour into the heart of the city while he raps about the racial tensions with police officers that have plagued the city recently.
His sound is unique to the hip-hop world as well. He does not overdo the trap sound that has taken over the genre. Instead, he improves upon it and pulls influences from other genres to give his music a more original feel. “Ain’t No Water in the Water Tower” is definitely worth the watch and Mvstermind is certainly an artist to watch out for in the future.
