Get it…”produces”….because there’s a lot of fruit in the video. Anyways, Paramore is still releasing music videos off of their spectacular 2017 release, After Laughter. It’s for good reason too, there literally isn’t one weak spot on the album, every song has its place and its own purpose. Each video has been fantastic as well, their last one being for “Rose Colored Boy”.
Four months later the superstar alt-rockers have released a trippy fruit filled video for their song “Caught In The Middle”. The band strolls, plays, and dances around in a world of oranges, pineapples, and watermelons while keeping true to the mood of After Laughter. Although the bright and tropical imagery appears happy, there is always an underlying gloom hanging around that you can’t quite put a finger on.
It is no secret how much of a Paramore fan I am and how much I absolutely loved After Laughter, so it is a welcomed surprise to see them continue to release music videos for each track. I remember when I was younger, you were lucky if you got two or three music videos for every album that your favorite act released. It is nice to see this new trend of music videos for most, if not all tracks on an album.
It has been a little over a year since After Laughter was released now, is it too early to be hoping for a new album? I think not.
