Still riding the wave of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom (and for good reason), Halsey has released a brand new music video for “Alone” and this version features some help from Big Sean and Stefflon Don. The track happens to be one of my personal favorites from the album and although I love the solo original version, it’s always great when an artist manages to freshen up a track, especially since I’ve listened to Hopeless Fountain Kingdom more times than I can even try to remember.
The music video features Halsey draped in gold as she meanders through a party only to see an old flame hooking up with someone else. Along the way, she runs into the aforementioned talents of Big Sean and Stefflon Don who seem to help her find her groove again.
The girl from New Jersey continues to switch it up and keep us entertained, which is probably a good thing for the state considering Jersey Shore’s return to MTV. Seriously though, Halsey is the definition of a superstar. Proud to say, we here at Lemonade have been on this train since the start.
