Rumor has it that Nelson Can was all a lie to begin with. Three Danish girls created the fake band to impress people. Once they felt it was time to come clean, it was decided that it would just be easier to actually start a band rather than explain why they created a fake one in the first place. It is not the most pragmatic way of starting a band, but we are glad they are one nonetheless.
It is always fun digging up a gem when searching through the music mines of the interwebs. “Move Forward” by Nelson Can just happens to be one of those. The video has been out for a few months now, but flying a little under the radar, so I intend on bringing it out in the open where it belongs. A place where all of you can watch and listen.
The track features a fun, driving rock beat and beautifully raspy vocals. All of which are very real…we think. You ladies are not still trying to pull a fast one on us, right?
If this video and song are any preview of what is to come for Nelson Can, it is safe to say, I am pretty excited for it.
