Jack and James have been best friends for as long as they can remember. And the boys of Rylands Heath have been playing music together since they were 13-years old and their lifelong friendship has been working to produce some catchy, genre-blending tracks. For a bit of background, they have worked or played with Declan McKenna, the 2015 winner of the Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition, Izzy Bizu and more.
Hailing from the town of Luton, England, which is a bit northwest of London, the duo have been releasing a new single every couple of weeks since January. And as they have been releasing singles, we caught wind of the activity. Now, the alternative band is releasing their tenth single this year, “Skin”, which is a guitar-driven track that is a high energy, pop anthem filled with layered melodies and slightly distorted vocals.
The longstanding partnership of Rylands Heath produces passionate songwriting that encompasses a wide range of sounds that can be evidenced by their extensive catalog of songs they have released this year. Once you have been thoroughly enchanted by “Skin” you should check out the rest of their library on Spotify.
The new single, “Skin” by Rylands Heath, is available now on iTunes! So go pick it up!
