Montreal has been an up and coming music region for a while now and not just in French. The duo have been working together on their upcoming EP, First Born Last, and have released their first single, “Molly”. While, this is not their first foray as a duo – they have released two other tracks previously – this track offer an even more in depth look at the wonderful chemistry between them.
Jess Abran, the self-proclaimed pirate aficionado, and award winning singer/songwriter/producer, Stephen Voyce, create a smooth, sensual sound that begs to be played repeatedly. The combining of jazz, R&B and pop builds a genre-blending, unique track and with brilliant guitar riffs by Malcolm Sargent gives it a rustic, raw feel.
