Good new music in your inbox is always a great way to wake up. Great new music that brings a smile to your face and makes you dance is even better. Karen Sheridan, otherwise known as Slow Skies, does just that with her new single “Dancing”.
The folk/pop release is a bit reminiscent of Matt Costa‘s early work (think Songs We Sing album). Bouncy enough for a mainstream crowd, yet rustic enough for those who like something off the beaten path. The breaks in Sheridan’s vocals add a lovely texture to the simplistic yet perfect melody that accompanies them.
Sound like something you might like? Well, it should be! Check out “Dancing” for yourself below. Slow Skies‘s debut full-length album is slated for the autumn 2017. Here is hoping that the upcoming LP is as energetic and entertaining as “Dancing”.
