Being famous on Instagram as is just a start, but if you can translate that cult following into a future in music, then you get Emily Zeck. The beachy electro-pop singer has seen her recent singles, “Pacific Blue” and “Stardust (Forever Young)”, do extremely well on Spotify and other streaming sites garnering more than 2.7 million plays for the former.
Now, Emily Zeck is back with her brand new single, “Two Cents (Ice Cream Song)”, that is a bit ridiculous and, yet, completely fun and right in line with her bubbly personality. The ridiculousness that is Emily Zeck starts with the surfer girl riding a chromed out bike with aluminum soda can in her hair as large rollers.
But do not let that take away from the song itself. The track is filled with synth, glitch-hop samples of the familiar ice cream truck song, “Turkey In The Straw”, and just rolls on with the beach theme. It is everything you want in a casual summer track.
So if you are looking for a summer song that is catchy, a little bit ridiculous and to sing along with at a barbecue, then Emily Zeck‘s “Two Cents (Ice Cream Song)” is for you. It is also the perfect song to blast while on the sun-scorched sands or while driving down the Pacific Coast Highway.
