We’ve known Sonali here at Lemonade for probably around eight years now. We featured her all the way back when she was performing acoustic pop and it has personally been so great to see her grow and evolve as an artist.
I know I mention it constantly on the show, but what I love about the podcast is that not only do I get to talk to new artists who I have recently discovered, but it’s also giving me a chance to catch up with all of our friends from the past. Sonali is quite the story, as she had to take a break for a bit due to health issues, but has come back better than ever with a new sound to boot. She honestly is one of the sweetest people you are ever going to talk to and her enthusiasm for everything that she does is infectious. I really hope you all enjoy listening to my interview with her, as much as I did doing it!
This week I also spin some new music, including a Drake cover from Lui Peng, something totally fresh from Olivia Henry, and a dreamy track from Suki Waterhouse that only an artist from England could deliver.
Thank you so much again for listening and please do subscribe to us on iTunes, Google Podcast, or Podcoin! Next week features an interview with Gabi Dipace.
