Carly Rae Jepsen – “Your Type” YouTube Screen Capture
When I first listened to Carly Rae Jepsen‘s latest album, E-MO-TION, “Your Type” was the track that made me say, “Okay, now this is how you make a pop album!” If you read my review for the album, you would already know that my love didn’t stop at one track. I mean, E-MO-TION is nearly the perfect pop album and if anyone here at Lemonade is a true pop music enthusiast, it’s me! But I digress, as I was saying, “Your Type” definitely set the mood for the rest of the album.
This week, Carly Rae Jepsen officially released the video for “Your Type” and it is set in a grunge-land, Cinderella-esque fairy tale. I mean why stop dominating the pop world with just an album, right? She might as well release a bunch of awesome videos along with it.
I could describe the whole video scene by scene (mainly because I have already watched it…a few times), but I think it’s better you watch it for yourself.
